Winston House is conveniently located in Sydney's leafy suburb of Croydon and is exclusively devoted to the unique physical, social and emotional needs of residents with dementia in a secure, high care environment.
We provide excellent care for 40 residents in our frail aged high care facility, "Kelby", and in our secure dementia unit. Our elegant, secure, Extra Service wing - "Lorna William", accommodates 12 dementia residents. Our staff specialise in dementia care, treating each resident as an individual with dignity and respect.

'Lorna William' - Extra Service dementia wing
Our elegant Extra Service wing, "Lorna William" at Winston house provides superior secure, surroundings, excellent catering and wonderful activities for 12 dementia residents. Our trained staff provides specialised, personal care 24 hours a day. Tastefully appointed in the style of yesteryear and set in gardens professionally landscaped for dementia care, Lorna William promotes serenity and peace of mind for our twelve residents.
Accommodation
Accommodation includes 10 beautifully furnished private rooms and one twin room. The rooms feature large windows, comfortable chairs, and most rooms have ensuite bathrooms. Electronic monitoring of residents also assists in care planning and supervision in our secure environment. Original artworks and quality furnishings provide a stylish, warm, welcoming atmosphere.
Facilities
Residents enjoy a sunny, light filled living room with a large outdoor deck with views over the garden. Here the residents can enjoy their attractive and nutritious meals and social activities organised by our own Recreation Activities Officers. Lifestyle and recreation activities popular with our residents include concerts, dancing, trivia, movies, BBQ's, happy hour and cocktails.. We also provide a beautiful private dining room for family and friends to gather or to celebrate birthdays or special events. The gardens have been beautifully landscaped and provide space to wander safely or sit with friends and family and enjoy the peace.
